demons and addictions while finding the true meaning

private 7th grade poem

private 7th grade poem

not fair
the brown eyes staring into my soul
then comes the blow
not what i was expecting
how can this be?

life is short for some
long for others
for me it seems like i have 2 lives
going on at the same time
which life is better?

i should be sad for them
but i am only sad for me
so selfish
yet willing to give so much

is it time to say goodbye?
or will i keep going
over and over
same guy, different hair
except this one was different

it's raining men!

i don't know why, but the gays are out and they are asking me out. 4 in one week. what's that about? i only went out with one, the doctor who messed me up this past summer. what can i say? he was amazing. then there was the offer yesterday from a stranger. who asks out a stranger? he asked me to go see this new movie MR.LEATHER with him, and guess what? he was old! no! i am not in that category yet! what the *%&#^@!!! i guess just like fat guys need love, so do old ones. i am just a firm believer in leagues. he was in my league, i suppose, but just off by 30 years. i shouldn't complain. it's always feast or famine with me. i just have to remember Vday is around the corner.

where is your name tag?

i work part time at a video store. it's one of the best jobs i have ever had, along with working at a library when i was in college. i have been at the video store for 2 years. i love it. i get to wear whatever i want, and most of the customers are regulars and very cool. i have met 2 of my best friends from LA there. so today i get a call from the main video office, and they tell me that starting today it is manditory for everyone to wear a name tag. we never wear our name tags...ever. but rules are rules, so i put mine on. i think my name tag needs some flare, or perhaps some glitter.
